connect your successes and struggles with Project 1 to our course goals<\/li><li><strong>Genre\/medium:<\/strong> Memo<\/li><li><strong>Length: <\/strong>Approximately 2 pages (500-750 words)<\/li><li><strong>Formatting requirements:<\/strong> Follow conventions for memos<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Requirements_Project_Completion_Memo\"><\/span>Requirements: Project Completion Memo <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember the Project Completion Memo should<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your memo must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>use <a href=\"https:\/\/writingcommons.org\/article\/memos\/\">memo format<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/writingcommons.org\/section\/rhetoric\/rhetorical-situation\/audience\/discourse-community-community-of-practice\/professional-and-technical-communication\/\">professional writing style<\/a><ul><li>Be <a href=\"https:\/\/writingcommons.org\/section\/style\/styles-of-writing\/reader-based-prose-style\/\">reader-centered<\/a> and use <a href=\"https:\/\/writingcommons.org\/section\/style\/styles-of-writing\/technical-writing-style\/\">an effective professional style<\/a><ul><li>Introduce your memo with <ul><li>a deductive summary of the (1) Design; (2) Revision; and (3) editorial changes.<\/li><li>a deductive summary of your work processes and progress toward achieving course goals<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>The <strong>body of the memo<\/strong> should be divided into four (4) sections and organized with headings and subheadings. <ol><li><strong>Rhetorical Analysis:<\/strong> Describe the rhetorical situation for your document. You might explain why you selected the document you did, address your original understanding of the <a href=\"https:\/\/writingcommons.org\/section\/rhetoric\/rhetorical-situation\/\">rhetorical situation<\/a> for the original document and how your understanding\/document changed \u2013 if it did \u2013 as you worked on this assignment.<\/li><li><strong>Writing processes and choices<\/strong>: Explain your <a href=\"https:\/\/writingcommons.org\/courses\/composition\/\">writing processes<\/a> and the choices you made in revising and designing your document. Be specific and point to examples from your document. Remember, excessive editing is expected, not just putting in a subheader and calling it good \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/writingcommons.org\/section\/editing\/\">EDIT<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/writingcommons.org\/section\/editing\/\">EDIT<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/writingcommons.org\/section\/editing\/\">EDIT<\/a>!<\/li><li><strong>Progress toward course goals.<\/strong> Assesses your progress toward achieving specific course goals.
